I don’t understand why DV singles out LSU ? He used to have fun calling games when Shaq and CJ we’re here. That was under Dale’s watch. Something truly doesn’t make sense because even Vitale knows schools cheat. That was the whole point of the movie, Bluechips.

That's some bullshite. Also, the thing that gets me is that even in the Dawkins stuff, he says that LSU was out bidding others (he actually says that Will Wade was driving up the price of pussy). That's the same as saying that other schools do it, they just didn't pay as much. And seriously, there should be ramifications for Dick singling out a school and intentionally sabotaging their recruiting.

Shaq could handle this entire situation with one in person visit to that old geezer.

It’s mostly Calipari and it started with and Jevante Smart. Smart attended Calipari’s feeder AAU team in Houston and WW stole Smart from Kentucky. Kentucky got the media narrative rolling with Pat Forde (who lives in Kentucky) rolling with innuendo and accusations and Dickie V piled on.

Just WIN Baby! I think Vitale had some very nice things to say about LSU's current basketball team so it wasn't all bad. I did cringe when he talked about recruits rethinking coming to LSU but that was about it. He was as impressed as the rest of the country w LSU's effort. They played w heart and desire every minute of all their games in the tourney. They keep that up and DickieV will be singing high praises for LSU - just like he did most of the game on Sunday. I'm over it....

I downvoted because your post is wrong and foolish. First, he has plenty of grounds. Sure, there is a lot of hypocrisy in NCAA football and basketball. The traditional powers - including LSU - cheat like crazy. But LSU's coach was caught red handed on recording. You can try to parse words to defend him, but that's all BS.

Second, what kind of lawsuit? What would be the grounds? They can substantiate what they said. LSU would not so much LOSE the lawsuit, it would not even be heard - if a lawyer was even stupid enough to file it.
