That was great. Wish he would show that emotion more.

I wonder if "Hey Now" is a call back to Hank on the Larry Sanders show.

So you think people actively want “dumb” announcers?

Ok. Brilliant observation.

I don't understand how anyone can say he is bland and boring. I love his calls.

also found the supposed, he called the walk off, which he clearly didn't just said "oh boy" off the bat.

More professional than me. I just went “frick!” and then was like “ok, that’s fine.”

People clapping on Blair are actually mentally challenged.

Blair is one of the best school radio network announcers in college sports.

Y’all want a dumb local sound, go listen to the vast majority of college PBP guys

This is the most accurate statement that will be made on this board all day.

He’s technically sound but sometimes suffers from a lack of passion. Fix that, or run him off.

but you can usually hear how it goes based on crowd/bat/etc.

My biggest gripe and it doesn’t happen just a few times a game. He is late on many calls.

He has to see it before he can call it. Just because you were trained to listen to Hawthorne call it fast and wrong with Hanny correcting him 30 seconds later, doesn’t mean that’s the way it’s supposed to be.

His calls for big plays are generally very good.

He gets a bad rap from the JH sycophants around here.. but does a good job of staying even keel and letting loose when appropriate.
