Here it is…
Appears ncaa official has final say, but host official assigns the weather man and person who gives the opinions….
quote:
In NCAA baseball regional play, decisions regarding rain delays and game postponements are made collaboratively by NCAA officials, host institution representatives, and team officials. While the NCAA provides guidelines in its host operations manual, the final decisions are based on real-time assessments of weather conditions and the feasibility of resuming play.
Key Decision-Makers in Rain Delay Situations
NCAA Officials: The NCAA assigns representatives to each regional site to oversee tournament operations. These officials, in consultation with meteorologists, assess weather conditions and make recommendations regarding delays or postponements.
Host Institution Representatives: The university hosting the regional is responsible for coordinating logistics and ensuring the safety of all participants. They work closely with NCAA officials to implement decisions related to weather disruptions.

Blah, blah, blah... The Rant says Jay has the final say and that's all I need to know.

Bro it pretty much reads as the host controls it…. The ncaa isn’t bringing someone like Trump to rule with an iron first
They are going to listen to whomever the host official designates as the expert. People would be surprised how light ncaa involvement is for ncaa hosting.

Dude do you know how dangerous it would have been to play in the conditions we’ve seen in BR all day?

Be honest, your bitch arse just started this thread so you could argue with people. We all know you and your stupid arse schtick.

Just find it odd that the same protocol has been played out a few times during the season that’s happening tonight

Les Miles has lost control

Every single Game 1 at the other 15 regional sites will finish before LSU starts. What a joke.

The ncaa barely does shite for regionals besides sending banners, a rule book, and a check

Serious question. How bad has it been? Family member works at LSU and said it hardly sprinkled. That the 2:00 game would have been done.

Prepare yourself to go 12 pages about this

I 100% believe Jay has some say in it. This is 2nd time it’s been this silly. Funny enough 2023 supers was worse than this. That was little to no forecast all day for storms. There were actually some heavy forecast today that didn’t materialize.

There is 10+ threads of people arguing what the actual rule is
Figured it made sense to actually post the rule in 1 thread vs all of them

Seems like info only people behind the scenes would have access to

The host site runs it. That’s 100% part of hosting. You have to show the ncaa you can do it. It’s why you actually have to bid as a host site before selections are even made
