Actual crowd for ULM was 71k, Actual crowd for Sam Houston was 76k. I'm all for expansion when it is needed but was it needed? The South end suites and stadium club are full so obviously the market demanded them. However, the South upper Deck? Let LSU have 2 losses going into Alabama and it won't even be full for that one. So, the tickets are sold but 25k tickets not used for Sam Houston and 30k not used for ULM. How about LSU allowing those in Upper Deck at halftime access to West and East Sidelines so at least it doesn't look awful on TV. What's best guess for actual vs Miss. State? 85k?

You'll see it was worth it this weekend and most definitely for Bama

most likely not, but it's an arms race to who has the biggest stadium.

The tickets were sold, which is all LSU is worried about, so in that sense yes the expansion is totally justified because it's going to make more money.

The ULM game will never reach capacity. If it doesn't fill up for Alabama then start crying.

I agree people should be able to move to the lower areas. Last Saturday, we were up by only 10 pts and people never came back from half time.
I don't understand why they buy the tickets if they are not going to the games.

Come on.

If LSU is 7-2 going into a home game with Bama, who presumably is still a top 5 team at that point, this will be a full game.

If you are judging an expansion off actual attendance of ULM and SHSU we should have contracted the stadium. People dont think when they post on here.

i can't WAIT for this saturday, even with 71k you could literally hear the noise from the north bouncing off the south side and coming back. this stadium is going to be LOUUUUUD as hell come huge games.

only thing that was annoying was the noise from speakers, yes i said noise bc 75 percent of the time you couldn't make out what was being said or played due to the south expansion. i think if they just lower it a little bit it could fix the problem.

oh and the drum major needs to not be so quick on the trigger for the first down song.

I think it'll be a bigger turnout. I mean first SEC game (especially at night) and a better opponent. But you're right, probably still won't be full.

The new addition isn't the problem. It's been pretty much full for the first 2 games.

It's not specifically about asses in seats but tickets sold. The new deck will bring in tons of money, whether there are empty seats or not because suites and club sold.

Other than appearances, the only thing that takes a hit when unused but sold seats go empty are concessions.

Is this a serious question or did you just forget to have your coffee this morning?

Just like in baseball. If they sell 9,000 tickets no one at LSU cares if 3,800 show up.

If us and Bama are both undefeated I say actual attendance is 91k. Which would be a record
