If being a moron means owning your ignorant arse here for years just on football knowledge alone well then so be it. Are you this stupid on politics and investing?? You’re a head in the sand lemming who doesn’t know how to take action. Maybe you have no ability to? Like the other assclown? So you really haven’t put shite into the program either have you. But run your mouth like you have ? Lmao!!

“I bitch about every move on the internet because I dont accept mediocrity”.
Fans that see their job as “being fans of the team” are “sunshine pumpers”.
The real fans are the ones who create a negative vibe around everything.
Got it.

LSU is just another SEC football program in 2018 and may as well be irrelevant on the national scene.

What really happened was LSU going 9-4 while playing our weakest schedule in over a decade. What really happened was LSU getting bitch slapped by a mediocre Mississippi State and SBC team. What really happened was another defeat to Alabama in which they were in control wire to wire. What really happened was O chickened out his team from about as close as LSU could have gotten to the ND goal.

I have always wondered about the people on this message board who preach about accepting mediocrity, and constantly demand championships from the coaches and players. I suppose there is nothing wrong with wanting that, but don't you have to accept that everyone wants that same thing? And that this is what makes it so hard to achieve? I wonder how many of the posters on this message board are the best at what they do? E.g., did you make a 4.0 at LSU? Are you the CEO of your company? Can you honestly say that you are the best lawyer, doctor, engineer, salesman, builder, etc. in the country? The answer for the vast majority of us is no. Even if you're pushing yourself and your kids to be great, I seriously doubt that you're the best in the country at anything you do.
So then, the question is why not? Is it because you've accepted mediocrity? Is it because you're irrelevant as a human? Or is it because good, hardworking people are not necessarily going to be the best in the country at what they do. It doesn't mean you stop trying to get better any more than it means that we should stop pulling for our favorite team just because it isn't in the national title conversation every year. Being loyal to a team that only wins 9 or 10 games doesn't mean that you "accept mediocrity." It just means you're loyal to your team.

Loyalty isn't the issue. Even the harshest critics are loyal to the team, otherwise they wouldn't bother.

Right, and this is the crux of the matter. A large segment of the fanbase feels the efforts to get better by the president, AD and head coach have been lackluster, at best. And they are the ones who said the standard was to compete for championships.

If you are in a position to make a difference, I agree.
A fan that accepts a program that isn't elite does no harm. In fact, fans that do nothing except bitch and complain about the state of the program do no good.
If you aren't willing to accept the current state of the program, do something about it. Start donating real money and make your opinions heard.

You know what really does no good? Getting stomped by a mediocre Mississippi State and bitch slapped on Home Coming by a SBC team. No amount of fan bitching does anywhere near the harm that those two frick ups did to LSU football. And that doesn't even speak to a Alabama defeat they controlled wire to wire, the bowl game frick up, or the Canada shite.
Some need to wake up and smell the coffee.

LSU went 9-4........
Mediocre means middle or average....50%
9-4 is 69.2 %
69.2 % > 50%
You have not made a valid point because your premise is WRONG!!!
This is not mediocre

Shut the frick up you douchebag. Nobody is accepting mediocrity. We had a 9-4 season last year with a lot of issues to overcome from a depth and talent standpoint at key positions. I don't need to name them to you bc I'm assuming you know a little bit about football. Just shut up and stop acting like a damn female. Nobody was overjoyed with the outcome last year, but it was about what we were capable of accomplishing as a team. Now, to say that people are "accepting mediocrity" bc they are optimistic that this coming season will have potential to be better is just a bitch move. I'm an LSU fan, and I'm a realist. We have the talent to be very good this season and I'm not going to give up on the tigers, or hope they tank just bc orgeron is the coach. Damn, we have a bunch of nutless "fans". Yall should really just go pull for another team, bc it doesn't seem like you're LSU fans by some of the shite Yall say. It's just stupidity at its finest. frick off.

Yeah, we lost to troy and we lost to ND, both we could and should have won. Every coach, even saban, has lost a game or two to a team like troy, and they either learn from it and dont let it define them or continue to let the loss linger and ruin a season. After the troy loss though, this team and coaching staff turned it around and had a good season, especially considering the qb position and the depth issues we had at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. We had a good year considering. All I'm saying is to get behind this team, that has a lot of talent, and has a capable qb for once in a long time. We Will have a capable offense throwing the ball finally, and a defense that will be good once again. I just wish our fans would just put their personal agendas aside and pull for the tigers.

I won't be getting rid of my tickets because I do believe LSU will come back one day. And, honestly, I like my seats
After 17 years, I finally let my tickets go. I'll continue to donate to TAF but I've accepted that my priority ranking is gone and I really don't GAF. LSU doesn't have any leverage and I'll be happy to pay (one off) when they do! Until then, I'll spend more on hunting, fishing, diving, skiing and my wife and kids will be happy.

Actually the first step to irrelevance was the clock management game against ole miss in 2009
The second step was the clock management game against Tennessee in 2010 that we would have lost if Tenn didn't put 13 players in on the final play.final step and nail should've been 1/9/12.We haven't been truly relevant since.
