I’m blame Fat Scotty for your color blindness.
It's generally not a huge deal, and I didn't even realize it was an issue that I had until recently. And honestly last night's game wasn't as bad as Jets/Bills from a few years ago, but when these scenarios do come up (and they only come up very rarely) I do feel compelled to say something. If we LSU fans are good at one thing it is finding something to complain about.

For those us with colorblindness (especially if protan), it's a nightmare.

You seriously going to compare it to a football game? That’s a little disingenuous.

We're the away team today so it's probably all greys

Reading comprehension not your strong suit? I said it wasn't as bad as that. I was illustrating an example of how some people see color.

Not one time last night did I even think about that
I actually did. Not that I couldn’t tell the teams apart…just thought it was odd that both were wearing colors.

I’m colorblind. I’m actually quite colorblind. I think my last test resulted in my getting 2 of 11 questions correctly (think pitri dishes with lots of colored dots in them that somehow reveal numbers).
If you really were colorblind, you’d know that this isn’t really how colorblindness works. We can still see colors, but they just look different. What I think of orange isn’t what you think of as orange. I have trouble distinguishing between some colors, such as red and green, particularly at night. People can go for years not knowing that they’re medically-considered to be colorblind.
People not seeing any color at all are extremely rare.
My money is on you just being one of those fans who is weirdly obsessed with uniform color combos.

Maybe you shouldn’t be so colorblind

Home/away doesn’t seem to matter

Understandable. Hard to distinguish who’s who with all 22 people running around out there yesterday….

How about the words "Tigers" and "Coastal?" Could you not read that?

Can you read?
“L S U” or “Tigers” is printed on the front.
Those are the good guys

I feel your pain. My dad is colorblind and it can be a problem. My mom said just the other day, after 70 years, " I guess he thinks I wear black lipstick"!
Posted on 6/22/25 at 8:38 am to Meursault
Can you not read either? One uni says “Tigers” one says “Coastal”. I’m sorry the teams didn’t consider your color blindness
Posted on 6/22/25 at 8:40 am to Meursault
Dude it’s baseball. It’s not like the contrasting uniforms matter as much as it does in contact sports like football and basketball.

Must be why pass interference was never called last night.

I mean if you can’t tell the difference between purple and teal then you have issues

Yeah I’m not as bad as you are. Yes, I can see teal and purple. I can just tell you that for me I see just “dark” jerseys and genuinely can’t determine who is who if it’s like a camera panning to Birds Eye view - unless I adjust my tv settings. Obviously when someone is batting, I can tell. But a dark teal and a dark purple to me - on tv, when side by side - genuinely looks extremely similar to me. Same with red and green. They will blend together for me.
You’re not wrong!

Another 17-year-old with no life. Man, we bombed Iran last night. Ukraine is involved in a three-year war. Hamas (hint: that's not a minor league team) and Israel are at each other's throats. They are still rioting in Los Angeles.
