Ranked 8th in the nation in YPG allowed. It might not get the wow factor that comes with beating an actual top 10 ranked team, but if Jayden can up put another 5+ TD game, I think he’ll likely lock up the Heisman.

So you’re saying we will have a hard time scoring on them?

Daniels will need a 5+ TD game just to secure the win on Saturday...then the Heisman stuff will work itself out.

Well, they've played pretty well on defense most games but they haven't faced anyone as talented as Jayden Daniels, or the whole LSU offense. Most of their gaudy stats were compiled against the likes of Abilene Christian, Louisiana-Monroe, New Mexico and Miss St-- none are exactly offensive juggernauts. And they surrendered 48 to a so-so Miami team.

Not in awe of this team.

OM, Bama, and Miami all threw for 300+ against them. Their weakness is no doubt the secondary. They’ve been prone to give up the big play a lot this year. Outside of Tennessee, no one has been able to run on them much. I’m interested to see how they try to stop Jaylen’s running ability.

Their front 7 is definitely their strength. We need that 2nd half UF gameplan, because you know A&M will be bringing pressure all night. Keep Williams in for pass pro and hopefully he and the OL can give Daniels the time he needs. If so, just look at what Ole Miss did to them. And that was mostly Tre Harris. They don’t have a #2 as good as Thomas.

As for running, I would love to see us attack the edges with Daniels and the backs. Throw in a jet sweep or two, as well.

Haven't thrown one all season, to my memory. Why start now?

Just joking- 2-3 screens should be in every game plan/calls IMO. Got to keep LBs closer to LOS so mid crossing routes work easily.

They can't. Bama couldn't either. Jayden doesn't run in the traditional way like read option guys. I mean he does a little, but the vast majority of his running is on QB draws and scrambling..

He’ll need another superhuman performance to give himself a chance. He’s been the best player in the nation this year, but the 3 losses will cost him. A&M game at 11am and Penix will get WSU and also a pac12 championship game to leave his final impression. JD5 will have to lose his f’ng mind on that field Saturday.

Let Jayden and the offense eat.

They will play like they have nothing to lose because they don’t. Our defense has AIDS. Y’all do the math. It will be a tough game to win imo. We have to apply pressure right away and make them have to keep up. Our defense probably won’t help out at all.

Aggy defense is overrated. They have inflated by BAD offenses. Tennessee and Bama both left multiple TD’s in the field due to less than stellar QB play. The only two offenses with a pulse that they have faced (Miami and Ole Miss) lit them up. Aggy will not have an answer for Nabors and BTJ.

LSU defense gets 3-4 non-TD stops — LSU wins nu 2 scores

this would be excellent. Bringing 6+ is 1-1 for every wideout and and also means when JD gets away from it he’s running for a touchdown

I do not believe this! I think BAMA and FSU defenses were better and Auburn's as good.
