Receivers shouldn't be taking catches away from your TE, and vice versa. JD just didn't go to the TE much, and for whatever reason.

Anderson reminded me a bit of the Russel Shepard (I'm not going to bother to check if I spelled that right) situation. Explosive talent, but just seemed like we didn't know how to utilize it.

I mean what QB wouldn’t throw to first round NFL WRs? Anderson wasn’t healthy and it was a very talented room last season.

Thomas was a 1st rd WR because of JD

He has been the most improved receiver for sure. I would honestly say he has been more impressive than Lacy so far as well. He keeps getting better and has been gaining Nuss' trust.

I will still love to see Hilton healthy and what that does for the rest of the group. I just think he is going to open up a lot of field for the other receivers and potentially setup a lot more big plays with his deep threat ability.

Had a damn good game with Nuss in the bowl game too. If you wanna play that game, give Nabers his props getting doubled to allow him single coverage.

Just give the guy credit, Anderson wouldn’t see the field over Thomas.

I didn’t say he would. They don’t play the same position anyway

Brian Thomas is a fine WR.

JD wouldn’t be leaving all of this deep ball yardage on the field tho like Nusd is.

I mean Nabers and Thomas where good enough to demand the usage they got.

I dont think anyone stands out that far this year.

Thomas is 6-4 with a huge wingspan and ran a 4.33 at the combine. He's the Jags' leading receiver as a rookie.

JD got him the ball, but for you to downplay his elite ability is ridiculous. There's a reason Saban personally went to Walker to try to recruit him.

Nabers and Thomas made an elite combo. In 2022 we had Nabers, Thomas, Lacy and Boutte. That's pretty freaking stacked.

He definitely is the most explosive, and good things usually happen when he touches the ball. He also gives good effort, better than some of our other WR's that like to take plays off.

AA is the most talented player on the team. Get the ball in his hands!

Did not do such a thing

He is DJ Chark without a QB like Daniels. He goes 2.60 rather than 1.23.

That does not mean he isn't talented

Jayden Daniels had an absolute elite yards per attempt last year at 11.7.

Nuss ain’t on that level yet.

With that said his currently is better than both Jayden and Joes first year.

Good, that means he will win the heisman, right?

Love a good transitive property

Goodness are you argumentative.

I think everyone can agree that Jayden and Joe had above average first season so it’s reassuring to have some objective measures where nuss supersedes them.

It doesn’t mean I think he will be better next year than them. It’s not fair to him or them to say that.

This. I really appreciate this after watching Lacy and his stone hard hands.

I’m just asking. It’s a pointless comparison without context

Nussmeier has everything in his favor to compile counting stats.

His receiving has been great, but I’m most impressed with his elusiveness once he has the ball.
