This Saturday desperately needs to be the 2022 Bama game version of Tiger Stadium.

Fans can and will make a difference.

If you get 2022 or 2012 Bama energy, you'll be in for a treat. Those were both great nights.

You know what I can’t wrap my head around ? I’m a big logic person.

If the students are going to say STTDB after the current song, either don’t play that song anymore so you stay consistent OR what makes more sense.. There is a 100% chance the student section will do the chant to any song so they might as well play NECK.

It’ll get the crowd more hyped. That’s the goal.

They will say it no matter what you play. I used to think it was funny several years ago when it was more or less organic but now I think it’s trashy as hell

The 2014 Ole Miss Game energy will be just fine.

I hope they have enough LSU 100 Year Yeti ramblers for sale or I’m leaving.

I believe it's a little trashy, but I bet the students would stay if they guaranteed Neck would be played at some point every 4th quarter.

I think that was the best atmosphere for an LSU/Ole Miss game in Tiger Stadium I've ever been to. It was relentlessly loud all game long and deafening at times. I swear that you could practically feel the hate raining down from the LSU fans.

I was about to say this. The crowd was loud and intimidating and we gave Ole Miss a beating.

Crowd can make more of an impact than ever now that teams have radio communication in the helmets for the qb.

For it to be at it's best, Tiger Stadium needs three things and a night game isn't one of them

1: The game has to be close in the 4th quarter
2: The game has to mean something; meaning, something meaningful is on the line
3: It has to be a game LSU fans legitimately think they can lose walking into the stadium

If this game is close in the 4th, the environment should be quite electric

I brought some buddies to that game who aren’t LSU fans and they still talk about how crazy the atmosphere was for that game. It was awesome.

The fact that fans still get their panties in a wad over stupid shite like this is what amazes me. People are more concerned with dumb stuff that students do than they are with the actual football game itself, the quality of the team and coaching, and the atmosphere– like staying the entire time for a game and not leaving early. If people put 50% of the energy they put into the above, instead of dumb stuff like chants in the student section, we might have a decent game experience.

Every year, our fans freak out when we leave early for the games that don’t matter. And then they’re delighted when they see we come out like a fricking wrecking ball for the big games especially at night. Tiger stadium is going to be electric on Saturday and there’s no doubt about it. We hate this team probably more than anyone for a lot of historical reasons. And we have revenge on the mind. I literally hope we beat the ever living shite out of them.

LSU's level of success over the last 25 years has decreased the stadium environment. The reason is heightened expectations. For the majority of the games during that span fans went in with the EXPECATION of winning. Thus, they didn't feel they had to be the "12th man" to help win. All of the times the stadium has been great have been games where the fans felt winning was not a certainty and, therefore, the team needed the fans to be at their best to create an edge.

Saturday is going to be one of those games. All of the ingredients are there: Night game with LSU as the lower ranked team vs a traditional rival. You don't get it very often any more, but expect the stadium to be in top form
