Does anybody really think we'll see anything different next year with Les back? He'll probably bring back Peveto and Steele.

You're a damn idiot.... You deserve what Less Miles brings..... My Alma mater, LSU in case you are too dense to pick that up, deserves better.

I don't think there will be any significant changes except the team is a year older and that may lead to one extra win in spite of Les.

This is a top 5 team in terms of talent. This is the most densely fertile state in the USA for football. We should finish top 10 almost every year, no shite. The right coach here could wreck shite for a decade. Put up a wall around this state and bama is looking up at us.

Oh well, this time the nice guy finished first to the detriment of his "damn strong football team's" talent and potential. This should not be a #twenty something team.

Year 1
3rd and short. Break the huddle with seven seconds left on the play clock. Rush to get play off without losing 5 valuable yards. Rush play only to lose 4 yards. FG missed.

Year 5
3rd and short. Break the huddle with seven seconds left on the play clock. Rush to get play off without losing 5 valuable yards. Rush play only to lose 4 yards. FG missed.

Lastt night
3rd and short. Break the huddle with seven seconds left on the play clock. Rush to get play off without losing 5 valuable yards. Rush play only to lose 4 yards. FG missed.

Players change. Coaching hasn't.

Btw, these "inconvenient truths" always seem to happen in one score games where points are at a premium.

A lot of people cheering at their tailgates when Alleva made the announcement. Received a lot of high fives from strangers that Les was staying. Saw people giving each other hugs after the announcement as well.

It's better than some ranked higher. I get what you are saying, but LSU has improved on its record from last season. Hopefully this group improves a lil more next year.

If not, I'd assume Les will be let go.

It's not that LSU isn't a coveted destination, it's that our boosters weren't going to pay a $15 Million buyout for an unknown. I would be stoked for Hermann, but what can you do?

In reality, we will be irrelevant until we hopefully part ways in 2017, but I don't think we're going to revert to dark ages. It's not like Louisiana is not going to drop off the map in terms of talent available. Look at Florida. Their program tanked under Boom, but it's not like a good coach can't come right in and correct the ship.

We don't have the correct AD right now, but oh well. At one time we had Skip Bertman, so it's not like we're not one hire removed. We'll suffer a bit, but we are a national brand that won't just go away forever.

I don't believe that Miles is a good coach but he is a financial genius.
He has made millions and has played folks like you like a cheap fiddle and you still owe him fifteen million.

Amen, gray tiger...if Alleva had been successful in going against thousands of Tiger fans, I wish LSU would have brought back Mike Archer or Gary Dinardo so these whining sob's could REALLY experience what mediocracy and less is...they forget that Miles has successfully competed for eleven years in the toughest division in the toughest conference in college football

My favorite are the ones claiming people are Les Miles fans and not fans of the program then claim they are done with the program because Miles is still here.

They hate Miles more than they love LSU...which is pretty disturbing

Truth is sometimes painful. I doubt that any of you will learn anything from it. Just remember your lies are exposed and reasonable people see you for what you are. So rant and rage on. You are all just insignificant vessels.

Well-done! On another thread I said this is a delusional cult of negativity and not the best or even the majority voice of the Tiger Nation. But here and there they continue to rationalize, equivocate, and attempt to justify their hatred for Les Miles. You are right - they will never learn or change. Sad little lives...

I LOVE les miles and what he's brought to LSU. He made football very entertaining at times. He's a wonderful man that I admire and am greatful he came to coach at LSU...

It's time for new blood in the program. That has nothing to do with les miles.

Sorry to ruin your agenda.

You're an idiot if you think all of those fans wanted to keep him. People were just showing their respect and giving him a proper send off.

chants of "we want Les" and "fire Alleva" signs every where stating the same thing.

that's not giving a proper send off.
that's making a statement.

hate to disappoint everyone, but that was a very large and vocal portion of the fan base saying they want Les.

4. Your belief that you had a majority of the fans on your side was also exposed as a lie by the reception Les got in Tigrer Stadium on Saturday night.

People can express their appreciation for what Les has done, but also feel it's time for a change of direction. Did Michael Jordan receive a great reception in Washington? Was he the same player that won championships?

Some fans see the product on the field and think it is not what it should be.

Other fans(those chanting to keep CLM last night) see a good record and a great man and don't want to change. Most of these are women fyi.

Do you think LSU should lose to bama every year? Or Arkansas 2 in a row? Or auburn and old miss half the time?

I do not.
