Les was the worst

Don’t remind me please. I’m having a good morning!

We didn't play that day.

No idea what you are talking about

January 9, 2012, close but no.

I was in the Hilton the next morning waiting on my wife, turned around and was face to face with Les. All I could muster was “good game coach” and he walked off. A few seconds later I was questioning why I didn’t tell him he was a retard.

What happened in 2013 on today’s date?

At the end he was a full blown buffoon. But he did have his moments of greatness. And for that I Will always remember him fondly.

Probably because you're a regular dude that knows how to interact with people socially.

OP is bad at dates, but you are bad at math.

Ummmm, that was the date of the game. 2011 season, championship game was 1-9-2012, nine years ago.

Defense showed up and at least kept LSU in it
If he didn't realize he needed to change the offense after that game he never was going to figure it out. We wasted another 5 years on that foolishness. Even wasted a Mett, OBJ, Landry and Hill offense.

“Coach, did you want to lose? Just sayin. Well anyways see ya later.”

Bro why, and wrong date

1/11/12?
You Les bashers are a dumb bunch.
Also, I'd say losing to Troy at home with LSU's talent is a worse coaching job than losing in the national championship game to Nick Saban, but that's just me.
ETA: And before some a-hole whines about me bringing up the past, please think of the context of this thread before wasting your figurative breath.

I liked Les and know that until the end of his tenure, he was a very good coach.
But he needed to go b/c he could not adjust his offenses to game.
The Natty against Alabama was his worst coached game. The OP is right about that. It was just inexplicable that he never tried anything different on offense, despite never crossing the fifty yard line. It was the most puzzling thing I have ever watched in sports.

Nah, it's not close to the worst coached game in LSU history. It's up there, no doubt. But not the worst.
This thread is an all around fail.

oh please, you tards that didn't live thru Archer/Hallman are the worst.
Yeah it was a shitty gameplay, it was also against an epic defense and the GOAT coach. 2 years earlier Saban and a not quite as good Bama D held Florida (with Meyer and Tebow) to 13 points. This idea that if only Les did something different we would have won easy is delusional. We're also not the only team to get blasted or shut out in a big game, it wasn't the "worst coached game in LSU history" let alone all of it, get over it.
