What's he have, 29 pass attempts? Why is it always the other guy for Tiger fans...

They're all highly recruited qbs. Let's develop a guy for once.

well there it is, stephen deliberated on it for a bit, I think we can now all agree O is a good coach. Thanks for putting this one to be stephen.

At the moment Joe is probably the 4th best QB in the West. But hopefully that will change as the season progresses.

no my friend, 6-6 is the floor. We can tout Burrow all we want, but he's still unproven in game situations. I think 9-3 is the most likely scenario, not the floor.

We most certainly became more competitive with Burrow.

O has assembled the talent and the staff. it is still a legitimate question if he can head coach the team into contention. I think he can.

Talent is down compared to previous years. Oline is a question mark, RB is a question mark, and CB lacks depth. The staff is also still a question mark. I read an article citing the "recruitment" of Burrow that basically said they told him they would be running the 2016 offense.... as in Cam Cameron's offense with slight deviations. If that's the case, we could be in for a world of hurt this season.

As far as O coaching this team into contention, doubtful. I think this season is his best shot, but if Burrow has a good year and bolts for the NFL, we're up shite's creek without so much as a pirogue.

I don't know about all that. Tua better? Really? Explain.

With Joe on board, 10 game season is very likely. LSU players leaving early not playing bowl game hurt us recently.

My expectations for this club are extremely high, and no, I have not been drinking. My triglycerides need to come down, so I'm on a restricted diet.

Lol. O actually coaching a team up? By that you mean, railing red bulls and smashing his head against shite? I'm sure he pulled that straight out of Bear Bryant's coaching handbook.

As for 9-3 being the floor...yikes. I remember when Les went 8-4 in 2008 and we damn near tarred and feathered him. Now we have come to expect it. 5-7 is the floor. 8-4 is the ceiling, Burrow or not.

Exactly. It's not the qbs as much as it's the lack of coaching, especially qb coaching

It depends on how those teams FINISH the year and not where they are ranked when they play them.
In 2011, LSU beat the Big East, Pack 12 and second plac WKU , UGA twice and Bama.

That team went 7-5. Which is the same as going 6-5 in the pre schedule expansion era since that team had 4 rent a wins. It was a shitty season by any measure.
