Oregon’s quarterback, probably unconscious when he first got hammered when sliding , gets wheeled off the field on a cart.

100%. And the ejection is worth it. If this was chess, that's a pawn sacrificing himself to take out the queen. QB should have protected himself by sliding sooner

wasnt a dirty hit. might be targeting according to the rule, but the qb wasnt sliding before the defender went after him.
