He's elite. I love him as our QB.

How many of the completions gained less than 5 yards?

The problem is scheme and OL (OTs in particular), not JB.

How many of Tom Brady's completions gain less than 5 yards?

Burrow averaged 15 yards per completion, and 9 yards per attempt.

< 200 yards passing. Wonderful. Jordan Jeffersonesque.

Never has been. He'd be thriving in any other system. I laugh at the Brennan threads. Shoes you just how little people know about football.

You really gonna go straight to that comparison? What about Montana? Maybe he's more Brees-like. Or is he a Marino-like passer? He reminds me a bit of Peyton.

Didn't Joe burrow break a bunch of Ohio High School football records? We're not talking about Idaho football records here. The state of Ohio is a biggest football Mecca outside of the South.

Anybody who says this is anything other than scheme and tries to blame Joe burrow should have his fan card ripped up

Yes, of course. Brady has become an HOF QB by specializing in short passes. Smart as hell, IMO.

I don’t think Burrow is a good QB, but I thought he played pretty good last night. Unfortunately our OC thought it was better to run the ball time and time again for 3 yards a pop rather than take advantage of the edge we had through the air.

His Senior year, Joe threw for 4400 yards, 72%, 63 TDs, 2 INTs - went to the State Finals. So, played against some pretty good D's.

JB can make all the throws. His deep throw to Jefferson was in stride and perfect and we never saw another one. This is what drives me crazy about our offense

16 Semifinalists for Davey O’Brien Award

All year you’ve told this board joe burrow is a top 5 quarterback in the country. Why isn’t he one of the 16 people being considered for the award that names the best quarterback in the country?

All year you’ve told this board joe burrow is better than Dwayne Haskins. Why is haskins a semifinalist for the O’Brien award and burrow isn’t?

He's a pretty average QB. The OL is the biggest issue for sure.

Imagine how he would do if we got Kiffen. Kiffen could make anybody look better (that kid from Tennessee, the two at Alabama who were glorified rb's).

Burrow is a great QB. We just need better coaching and a better OL.
