Cope.

Kentucky has a new coach, new team. They won.

With the portal, every year is going to have high attrition.

So Will Stein is the next Kirby Smart and Kentucky is the next sustainable elite program?

This is a 50mil roster.

Show me proof. This gets thrown around a lot but by who?

Good players are only coming / staying for money at this point, what kind of budget do you think LK needs to make the roster stronger?

Not about budget. It’s about time. He will have a full season/off season to evaluate players both on our current roster and who we want to get. He will have to spend less time hiring coaches and support staff and building systems.

Right now we have:
Above average qb
Above average Tackles/C
Below average Guards
Average rb
Below average wr
Bottom of the barrel TE

The offensive side of the ball will be much improved next year.

Kentucky had 45 new additions to their team. LSU had 63. Not exactly like for like scenarios.
I don't think this makes the point you think it does.

Also, in 2025, Indiana had 42 new players ... and won the National Championship.

In this new era, massive roster turnover is common. Can't use it as an excuse.

This is just lazy, the average for a team with a returning coach is around 23. LSU had double that, and so did most every other team with a new coach. Thats a massive difference.
