Nothing beats 1st half vs OU in 2019.

im saying each of our guys have better arm talent than Bennett.

If they were trying to win a stuffed animal for their girlfriend at the state fair Juggs gun booth, I would agree.

How about that throw to Jenkins who was double covered and bracketed underneath and over the top?

Jenkins stopped and let the defender run by. That's gonna happen often

like the OP said he has never met a coverage he didn't like

CFB coaches love ball security. Nuss has a great arm but his decision making sucks. I think it will improve but throwing into 2 and 3 man coverages isn't the way you become a starter.

exactly. It’s fun to watch as a fan when it works but it’s not how you endear yourself to the coaches.

Bennett throws behind wide open receivers with no rush in a perfect pocket. He wont last a season on an NFL roster

It was the sickest thing you have ever seen? Were you dead in 2019?

As great as it was he has to read defenses better. 2 turnovers won’t cut it.

we won't play Georgia every week next season.

I expect him to be much better vs normal competition next season. He made some passes that JD just cannot make.

The Nabors TD should have been an int bc he stared him down the whole time.

A strong arm can get you out of trouble when you're late or don't look off safeties.

I'll say this, and probably get downvoted, but if he can work on the mental part of the game, reading what the defense is doing, manipulating defenders, etc. He could easily be on Burrow's level. Those are the "small things" but they're not an easy fix the way he plays the game.

and it cause a lot of interceptions. I think what is holding him back is trusting his arm too much.

Lol. He has literally played in two meaningful games. Saturday was told to turn it loose after your boy had us 25 down. Big difference than when leading. He looked damn good and has a cannon. Gunslinger yes...so was favre with a cannon. One thing about his arm, if a guy is open he is going to get it there before defender can make up territory...like that long pass from JD that should have been a TD.

The mentality changes when you are trying to claw back from 20 down and know you HAVE to get chunk plays. I take the 2 turnovers with a grain of salt in this one. He had no choice but to be extremely aggressive.
