Computers say Mike Trout is more “valuable” than Babe Ruth, but he can’t lead a team to the playoffs in an era when literally 1/3 of MLB teams make the playoffs.

Computers don’t know shite about real life circumstances.

The FPI is as accurate as climate modelers. Not worth the time to even consider

Fpi also had Clemson ahead of us after the national championship in 2019.

Not true . They never updated after the national championship game. This has been explained on here at least 10 times that I’ve seen
The person that I saw talking about it provided a link with the date last updated.
I’m not sure how that can be believed anyway. I mean, that’s impossible after blowing out a schedule including Clemson . We had the number one strength of schedule. If you look at the formula they use, you will see that’s impossible.

But they did give us a 0.0 chance to win the natty in that op, that’s not possible either

I think the technical term for this is B-O-G-U-S!!

Tigers an underdog at Ole Miss and v. Florida at home? No way, José.

We have a very talented roster that should be able to compete in every game. The big question marks, though, are QB play and new coordinators. Not having a clear starter hurts us in these kind of metrics. I semi agree with Josh Pate: this LSU team has no ceiling, but it also has no floor. Hoping we surprise everyone this year.

I don't think he will improve them but emory jones is going to surprise some people. Mullen will always have that offense scoring points.

5-star rankings culture...perfect for AI but chit for humans.

I guess these rankings know future player development, injuries, weather, girlfriend break-ups, death in families, etc.?

Somebody unplug the computer.

This worst LSU team in a decade still only lost 20-7 to the best team A&M has fielded since Johnny Football left. I call BS on the aggies
