It wouldn't have been as close as people think. Stingley and Fulton would have neutralized the Tenn WR's. Burrow, Chase, Jefferson, Marshall, Helaire and Moss would have put 50 on this Tenn defense.

This Tennessee team is probably not quite as good as the 2019 Bama team we faced. But I do think they would have been our second toughest game that year.

2019 LSU better than 2022 Vols but not as good as 1995 Nebraska.

2019 Alabama team was better than this Tennessee team and we beat them and the defending champions. So no it really would not be that epic.
