2011’s offense was definitely better than 2025’s!

And it's not close. At least 2011 could run the ball.... 2025 can't run or pass.

In 2011 we ran for 200.5 yards a game.
We barely average that in passing (235) this year.

Yeah... literally one of the greatest seasons in lsu history. It's the 4th or 5th best season in lsu history.

Playing the same team twice helped that out.

Don’t forget that little fact.

The 2011 LSU offense was ranked 17th in the nation in points per game and 2nd in the SEC in total offense.

This team has quite a way to go to achieve that.

Also, you’re retarded. May God help you.

right
This op is retarded. 2011 had a great D and ST and a great o line and stable of 4 horseman in the backfield( ware, hilliard, blue and ford) and a damn highly efficient play action pass game based off the great power run game. Lee had the top efficiency rating in the sec after the first 7 or 8 weeks.

OP is a clown.

Our opposing teams are averaging 1 to a game. If we can get a mediocre offense, we win every game.

2011 team really gets a bad rep for that abysmal performance on 1/9/12. We had a much better offense in 2011 than 2003.

What were 2011 sheer offense rankings, after accounting for defense TDs, special Team TDs, and field position advantage after turnovers?

We were outgained in yardage vs West VA 533 to 366 and won by 26. Outgained by almost 200 yards and won by 26. That's Defense/Special Teams.
We were outgained by Oregon by 70 yards and put up 40 points on 273 yards offense.
We were outgained by Georgia by 70 yards, put up just 230 yards offense, and had 42 points
We had 322 yards vs 2025 Florida. That's 100 more yards than the 2011 SECG, and put up 20, when we put up 42 in 2011 SECG.

With an average Defense and Special Teams in 2011, I'd doubt we crack Top 50 ppg, and likely average 10 ppg less.

It's absurd putting up 42 points on 230 yards or 40 points on 273 yards. That was Defense, Special Teams aided. Of course we were significantly better in the red zone then than now because we could run then. Saturday, We very well could've had 34 if we decided to not kneel it out, and that stupid JuJuan fumble, then Nuss pick.

We were 26th in the country in Offensive tds per game in 2011. While not elite... its far better than 90th(2025).

You know that you can look these stats up, right? If you want to argue that the 2025 LSU offense is somehow better than the 2011 LSU offense at the moment, I won’t waste my time with you.

And for as concerned as I am with the offense, it’s still better than 2011s

Purely eye test though. Stats may disagree with my take.

And there is no team we play as good as 2011 bama. Including if we made a playoff.
