Hard to believe that Kent State and Georgia Southern put up way more yards and points vs that Bama defense than a LSU team loaded with NFL talent.

I don't think our offense was loaded with NFL talent. OBJ (true Fr), Rueben Randle, Shep, and Faulk were NFL quality players. The RBs were solid but we were pretty pedestrian across the OL and at QB.

No idea if Bama was stealing signals. JJ and DeAngelo both said afterwards we didn't run the plays we game planned for. The plan was to spread Bama out like Utah had done to them in '08.

The SECCG was a clear indicator of what was about to happen. UGA had us dead to rights. They were up 10-0 and dropped a wide open TD pass in the 1st to go up 17-0. LSU had 2 big punt returns (one for a TD), and UGA had 3 turnovers (1 Pick Six)

LSU had zero offensive scores in the first half.

Jefferson finished the game going 5-13 for 30 yards. We had 237 total yards

Scoring Drives: (2 Defensive, 2 Short Fields, 1 sustained drive, 1 drive)
Punt Return
2 plays and 26 yards
4 plays and 17 yards
10 plays and 70 yards (Blue 48 yard run)
4 plays and 93 yards
Pick Six

T-Bob himself said there was no conspiracy, not pre-game fight, we just had a terrible game plan and got spanked.

Between the SECCG and BCSNCG, Jefferson was 16-30, 83 yards, and an interception.

There was a rumor that an NFL coach was watching us practice in the dome and feeding Saban info. Maybe Greg Williams?

Don't forget them not reviewing Mathieu's punt return TD that should not have counted

we didn't exactly have a great offense when we won 9-6...and from the looks of it didn't change anything for the BCS game

exactly my point earlier, bama made adjustments offensively that got LSUs defense really off balance

LSU made zero adjustments and showed nothing new from the first meeting

Good thing LSU had a senior quarterback who was undefeated (8-0) that season sit the bench. Definitely did not need him.

LSU had 5 first downs and a total of 92 yards for the game vs Bama.

When is the last time an undefeated SEC champion put up stats like that in their bowl game?

Hey man, he had that TD in the SECCG, don't take that from him lol.

I've always said that he had a better game on 1/9 though. He was absolutely terrible in the SECCG.

I also thought UGA gave a bit of a blueprint in that they attacked our interior OL with a good bit of success in the SECCG. We adjusted and ran over em in the second half, but that first half... sheesh.

I think you are correct with Williams. I never saw if that was substantiated.

I love how, 13 years later, we still have people trying to come up with every possible conspiracy theory to explain why 21-0 happened.

Even now, there are an alarming amount of people that can't seem to handle that we just got outplayed and outcoached by the only team that could matchup with us from a talent standpoint.

This post is a great example of how conspiracy theories get started.

The OP posted absolutely nothing to prove his claim or even suggest it is actually a viable possibility.

He sited a completely different instance of sign stealing (LINK which has nothing to do with that game.

He also claims that because other teams scored more, that’s somehow proof that the only way Alabama could lock down our extremely predictable offense was by cheating when there are plenty of plausible explanations for that. Our cupcakes could easily stop our offense in those years.

Short side option The interception to the AL LB was a killer.
Miles was clueless. Stood on the sidelines with his arms folded in a blank stare.

The 2011 offense was average at best. The defense was dominant.

Nick Saban defense seeing a Les Miles offense for the second time is like Elon Musk playing checkers with a 3 yr old. No need to steal signals

Will Blackwell said Miles did not change any of the game plan offensively from what they did in the first game.

The end.
