Prove me wrong. I had so much fun I was also in my late teens and 20s so that had an impact as well. Just a great time all around.

Football 2 National Titles
Basketball- 1 Final 4
Baseball - 2 National Titles
Women Basketball 5 Final 4s

Add on if you can think of more that I missed. Hope to get back to that dominance one day. It was definitely a great time to be a Tiger.

Our track team still had coach Henry and were pumping titles. Softball wasn't bad and gymnastics were solid.

I wanted LSU to play USC so bad in football, but it never happened! I thought for sure they’d meet up during that time.

Gunter 2004 then half of 05’ before retiring and Pokey took the helm. Still think we were going to be a perennial power if she didn’t screw up messing with a player. A shame women’s basketball on a high level is pretty damn fun to watch.

No one is gonna argue with you on this. I like to say I went there during the best 4 year span ever... 2007-2011. Got to see a football and baseball natty as a student... got out of there just before 1/9/12

Same here. Was a fun time to be at LSU. I wasn’t big into women’s basketball but pretty amazing they made the final four every year we were in college.

I'll agree! Maybe I was spoiled as an undergraduate during this time.

A few more details though:
- Football is king, and 2000s was most successful decade for sure.
- 2000s was only decade with 3 Men's Basketball SEC championships.
- Baseball went to CWS once every 2 years on average (5 out of 10 years) in the 2000s—and won titles in 2 of those 5 trips.
- Technically, more total national championships in the 1990s, 19 (baseball and track) compared to 13 (football, baseball, and track), as well as more SEC championships in 1990s, 33 compared to 26. **As AustinKnight pointed out, we only won 1 national title in the 2010s under Alleva.
- Women's Basketball was at an elite level in 2000s, achieving two important firsts: WBB Final Four in 2004 and SEC champions in 2005—but hasn't had an SEC championship or Final Four in the decade since.
- Softball is a little more mixed: first of 2 trips to Women's College World Series in 2000s in contrast with 4 total in 2010s; compare this to 4 SEC season championships and 4 SEC tournament championships (8 total!) in 2000s...and 0 SEC championships in the decade since. So, softball seems to struggle to win conference championships in 2010s but has had more NCAA success than in 2000s.
- Gymnastics was just starting to become elite, reaching its first ever Super Six in 2008.

Football
2009 Was Les Mile's first bowl loss (Penn State)
2009 Was the Tebow concussion game
2009 Was the PP7 interception that wasn't
2009 was the Ole Miss Spike game

2009 Was the year we lost in the Los Angeles Regional to UC Irvine (UCLA won the Regional and Super to go on to Omaha)

2009 was when LSU basketball went 11–20, 2–14 in SEC play, and lost in the first round of the SECT.

Yeah my first year as a student was womp
