I believe LSU was a 14 point underdog too.

I loved that game, and that was my first time going on the field after a game.

I still have a patch of field turf in a ziploc. The paint has pretty much faded off but anyway.... fun night.

The 3 biggest takeaways from watching that old clip:

1. Rohan was a really good QB & really under appreciated while at LSU.
2. Josh Reed was the BEST College WR I’ve ever seen play.
3. The old LSU end zone font was just HORRIBLE!! WTF were they thinking with that shite?

I believe to this day that the play that changed LSU football was 3rd and 22 on our own 5 yard line with 2 minutes remaining and a tie game. All signs pointed to a draw play, botched punt, and easy field goal by Tenn to end it.

Instead Rohan hit Reed in the middle of the field for and gave us OT. LSU football was never the same after that play.

Rohan threw that ball with a Vol steaming towards him. That showed a lot of guts. Probably tied with 2003 UGa for the best game I personally witnessed in Tiger Stadium.

That touchdown pass was one of the prettiest I have ever seen. So smooth and right in the right spot to beat the traffic.

I had a student job on campus that year and my boss hired me and my roommate to dig up some plants in his yard a couple weeks before that game. One day at work he offered to pay me with his tickets and parking to the game instead of cash. It was my first time to have my own tailgate spot and sit outside the student section in the stadium. Probably one of my favorite gamedays and memories from when I was in school. That’s back when we were happy to win any game at all. It was a memorable Saturday night in Death Valley.

Every time I see Rohan playing, he's limping around. Either he took too many hits or he had really big ding dong.
