Obviously this year in baseball it’s this was the case.

Shaq and Chris Jackson is the only other one that’s a no doubter. It still amazes me that we couldn’t seal the deal that year.

This years women’s basketball will have at least 2 or the 5 best ever.

Arguable Patrick Peterson and Tyrann Matthieu.

Any other examples?

I’ll take that one, but it’s arguable that Jets may have been the better wr.

Jefferson belongs in that sentence.

3 of the top 5.

Joe Burrow and Justin Jefferson might go down in history as a top 5 all time QB and a top 5 all time WR having played together in college. Like if Tom Brady played with Randy Moss at Michigan, or Peyton Manning played with Terrell Owens at Tennessee. It might even be crazier than that if Ja'Marr ends up being as good as JJ. It's something that will be talked about for a long, long time. Not just by LSU fans, but by football fans in general, because to have two, much less three all time greats on the same team in college hasn't really been done before. Or maybe it has and I just don't know about it.

Not sure if this counts since freshman couldn’t play back then, but Jerry Stovall was a freshman when Billy Cannon was a Sr. That’s a Heisman winner and runner up.

Stingley might belong in the discussion as well

Burrow, Chase and Jefferson were all three among the top three at their position. Football has a lot more positions than baseball, so if you mean the top five football players of all time, then I would say Burrow and Chase, but Chase is debatable. Some would say Jetts was better. PP7, Mathieu, Dorsey, Cannon, Bert Jones, Leonard Marshall, Mike Brooks and Perkins are all candidates for top five.

Any track athlete combos from the dominant runs we had back in the 80s / 90s?

And of course Beaux Jordan, Bryce Jordan.

Kramer and Lange. Or heck, Kramer and several options.
