58k's in 46 innings is good. When he has command the stuff is nasty. I'm sure fixing the command and cutting out the walks is the recruiting pitch from CJJ & Jason Kelly.

I have faith that Kelly can work with him and get him going. I do like his upside big time.

He's got wicked action on his pitches. He just has one pitch every 5 pitches or so that goes array. I could see that being an issue when facing seasoned hitters that can just foul him off until he throws one over the catchers head.

A&M SS position was weak this season. I'd imagine Schloss is familiar with him from being at TCU. That would likely be my guess. I would imagine it is hard for them to make a push right not with getting prepared for Omaha.
