He is a hack. Ninja my arse. I believe Rice and other universities.

You can’t explain a 46 year old using the SAME GUNS today throwing 98.. arms slow down SIGNIFICANTLY AFTER thousands of innings of baseball pitching every fricking 4 days.
I choose to believe those that ACTULY saw him pitch and heard the ball as it zipped by.
You never have of that I’m sure.
He was the fastest MLB pitcher every.

Thank you for confirming that you should never be taken seriously on anything baseball-related ever again.

He looked at the source, dude. He explains it all in detail. Bad data in = bad data out. If you don’t have reliable equipment you can’t say any math done using data from that equipment is “100% FACT” as you like to say. What, exactly, did he get wrong?

It’s amazing that I spent all that time to find that thread and he is literally making the same argument in this one even though it doesn’t have anything to do with LSU.

Nolan Ryan could throw 167mph in whatever fantasyland he wants to create but it doesn’t matter because none of Walker, Furniss, or Crews had to face him at LSU.

Is that the fastest pitch ever? Why can’t anyone now throw 109?

They aren’t the same. Not even close.

I have no doubt he was the fastest of his time. But You can’t claim to rely on science then contradict yourself immediately by claiming to rely on a person’s opinion.

Because they aren’t as badass as Nolan Ryan.

Next he’ll tell you that Sparky Joe Wade Jim
Bob was only 5’7 but there are reports he threw 112+ in the 1920’s.

For anll we know he actually may have thrown HARDER than 98 in 1993.
Are you that stupid? Seriously? When did Ryan retire? Are you saying that in 1993 radar, guns were in accurate? If you are, you are fricking an idiot. Secondly, the fricker threw a no hitter in 1991 at age 44 you fricking moron. Just give up you didn’t see shite your arse wasn’t born probably until 2000 and you think you’re fricking know everything for planting T-ball.

Go back to living in your video game world eating your fricking Froot Loops and your mom’s basement. You fricking idiot.

I don’t think you know what the same means. Even back then you had fast and slow guns depending on how they went about calculating the mph. Today, it’s much more uniform and we have trackman that is exponentially more accurate and gives much more detail. It’s sad that this has to be explained to you.

What the frick does this have to do with anything?

I saw Walker play at LSU. He’s the reason I fell in love with the game. I’m not nearly as old as you, but I’m also apparently way more knowledgeable. Sad.

I opened them and remember the one about Walker not being a 5 tool guy but still the goat in terms of offensive production. I was in there but I didn’t get nearly as involved as others.

Is there a good site for current college baseball stats? I thought I found one but Crews isn't even listed at all. Weird.

NM. I found him. They have him listed at .465. Maybe it's a game or two behind.

I was on there but he was way down the list at 465. I was looking for 500.

This list shows 13 games. So it's 2 behind.

Happy to see I had the first response in the Crews/Walker thread and I had an awesome take that got downvoted by 42 idiots.

Proud of me.

Crews is the best non-pitching baseball prospect that LSU has ever had.

It's a joke that he has to go back to college for another year.
