97 game is one of the best ever in Tiger Stadium.

Watched the College Game Day guys get pegged with beers and cokes as they each picked Florida and Corso put that Gator head on. At the end of the night one piece of the goal post was marched out of the stadium and the other went over the top out of the bowl.

What an atmosphere!

Whoever down voted me clearly was not there in 79!!! That is for sure!

Anyone that was not there will never understand…and it wasn’t just big plays when the crowed came to life…it was the ENTIRE game…no one sat down except between quarters and halftime…the crowd never let up…I’ve been to many games since then and none have come close to that game…

I remember standing in South Endzone most of the game! When game was over, I vividly remember Tebow walking off the filed in tears. What a competitor he was.

At that movement, it made me realize how important this must be to our team and as a fan the whole atmosphere that night was outstanding. What a great time to be a Tiger the past 20+ years. Geaux Tigers!

2007 was my favorite CFB season of all time. I’d say my lifetime but I don’t know how anything before can top it either. Drama was second to none for about 15 different teams that season that had #1 or #2 rankings at some point throughout

Still feel like loudest crowd in person was Bama 2012.

Yep. The quiet parts of that game were louder than most loud parts of other games. There was a constant roar throughout the entire game where you had to talk loud to people next to you

Place was pretty dead when Alabama was up 14-3

The game that turned Jacob Hester into a legend.. his runs on that last drive were just pure guts and determination. One of the best games ever in Death Valley.

The USC game in 79 was like a constant roar the whole game. And I’ll go to my grave saying that the BETTER team lost that night. USC with all that talent should have beaten us by 3 tds at least. The same with the Bama game that same year.

The GOAT game

Anyone that says this wasn’t the loudest or most electrifying Tiger Stadium has ever been is so full of shite.

Playing the defending National Champions with the eventual Heisman winning QB on their side, trailing at half, finding out USC lost to Stanford. LSU rallying back with all of the 4th down conversions thanks to Jacob Hester, game goes all the way to the wire with LSU knocking of its rival/defending champ and realizing that for the first time in the modern era LSU will be the consensus ranked #1 team in the country. And to top it off, the entire game was SATURDAY NIGHT IN DEATH VALLEY.

That one ranks way up there but I have always said that Tiger Stadium at its peak was Florida 2007. And I have seen all of them since 1966.

What a game!

Forgotten moment: Flynn’s 17 yard scramble on 3rd and 18 during game-winning drive. Set up Hester on 4th down.

UF had never lost 2 straight under Urban coming into that game.

I’d put earthquake, Florida bandit game and UGA 03 ahead of this one but I’d have it up there for sure.

Great games but that season aged me.

The Demetrius Byrd catch against Auburn took 1.5 months off of my life. When I go, it will be earlier than otherwise, thank you 2007 season!
