That was the last LSU football game my dad watched. I didn't graduate from LSU, but thanks to him being a fan, I became one from birth! RIP Pop

RIP

My Pop was so looking forward to that game...but he passed Dec 30th and got to watch from a better place...

Tough game to watch, but felt like Pops was there pushing them on to victory!

What a game to remember...I was pumping LSU band’s drum cadence out the front door late that night...I swear I heard most of our neighborhood outside cheering after the game....

Stoops at halftime correcting the reporter that we had the #1 scoring defense but he had the #1 defense was classic stoops

And made winning even sweeter.

Also, the great University of Texas at Austin beat the unbeatable USC Trojans thirteen years ago from the fourth.

It rained that night, not snowed. It was super cold though.

Best LSU Father -Son memory ever...Flew down from Iowa with my son wanting him to experience an LSU Championship as a 13 year old. The eruption and intensity of the crowd on that 1st play run of Vincent set the tone for the entire game. My son looked at me with his eyes bigger than silver dollars and said, “Dad, I can’t stop my legs from shaking. This is the most exciting moment ever.” I knew then, this Kid growing up in StL and Des Moines Iowa was headed to LSU for college.

You're a complete douche nozzle. Vince Young beat the condoms. The rest of the Horn team was along for the ride.

Living in Oklahoma, it was one of the most spectacular nights ever. Especially after all the arrogance and shite I caught leading up to the game. I'll never forget Lionel Turner flattening Jason White on a delayed blitz at the end to seal their fate. Absolutely glorious.

Remember it like it was yesterday. I was 17. Saw him coming in hot and YELLED ‘boooooom’ as he hit him. I knew it was over at that point

Same here; me and my longtime tiger buddy shed a few drops as that punt rolled dead and 0:00!
But you are thinking of the 02 Sugar Bowl vs Illinois a few years before with the snow.
