They’ve been recruiting on another level last 3-4 years. Despite rankings and stuff, I think at a level higher than Bama. Kirby has put together some unreal talent at just about every position but WR.

We had the second most players (10) drafted in 2022.

Coaching & accountability was the issue the past few years of Ed’s tenure. BK is changing that.

It helps when you are the 4th best State for recruiting football and your only in state competition is an academic school. Georgia always just needed the right coach in there to be a monster.

Exactly

LSU was the only other school with double-digit draft picks last year...and they went 11-11 (regular season) in 2020 and 2021. THAT is how bad of a coach Orgeron was. He had it made. All he had to do was continue to recruit at a high level, hire competent coordinators, and stay the hell out of the way. Instead, he wanted to show the world the vast depths of his football knowledge by unleashing his 1990 defense on college football with led by a DC 10 years past his prime. The more success Burrow, Chase, Jefferson, etc have in the NFL, the less relevant Ed becomes with respect to the 2019 season.

It's very impressive when you consider the whole Covid year shakeup.

The super seniors allowed for a lot of success for "developmental" programs like TCU, who take 2 stars and 3 stars and through a combination of S&C, natural aging and coaching, turn them into football players as junior and seniors who can compete with 1-3 year players who are 4 and 5 stars.

Georgia did this when the conditions are ripe for an NFL factory to be challenged by the developmental programs.

Georgia is having a good run for sure, BUT they have definitely reaped the benefits of Auburn and FL sucking these last few years...

Just sayin

What really helps is money and UGA has the highest recruiting budget in the country

They are recruiting way better than Bama. Bama's superior ratings are due to the fact that the recruiting services value Bama's offers more than Georgia's. That's about to change.

That's not Georgia. Auburn, Florida State, Alabama and Tennessee are all over the state of Georgia.

Although not a perennial threat, LSU is getting D.J. Chester and Whit Weeks this year from the state of Georgia.

We had a great class but we are still not recruiting on UGAs level. They reload, and add even more talent yearly.

Thats not me taking a shot at our class, just the truth. They're truly on a different level like BAMA used to be.
