Tennessee probably isn’t going to catch 1997 but they’re probably going to hit more homers this season than LSU hit in 1998. LSU hit 157 homers in 1998. Tennessee has 133 this season with at least 15 games left.
They hit 11 last night, that is just unreal.

The have at least 7 home games left in that small assed stadium and the SECT in Hoover, so, hitting 24 more is a possibility.

While Tenn has a good team and has hit a lot of homers, lets remember the park the play in is equivalent to a high school stadium. That will help alot in their homer total.

They have at most 7 games in that Stadium. They are on the road this weekend.
And can get through the regional in 3 games played and Super Regional in 2 games played.

These bat companies have quietly increased the "pop" off the bat back up as well. There is a youtube video of a minor league player comparing the orange stealth and the old TPX to the new 2022 bats and he had the same exit velo off of both, and actually hit 111 with the marucci

Announcers last night for LSU/Vandy game said they hit 11. I don’t understand this day and age how it can be this confusing

yep they are wrong. The announcer in our game said 11 hrs also so i turned to the game and it was 7. Of course that announcer said Crews had 7 total hrs this year in his first at bat

Douchbag Vitello is their coach, so, yeah.
Don’t forget to test for PEDs while you are at it.

Love how Johnson said we have 100 HRs and 100 HBP which is exactly what we want...
