Auburn also has the second highest percentage attributed to football (Georgia is first). That means, nobody is going to see their other teams either, probably because they stink too.

Sad Aubie is Sad.

I wonder how much Texas' money is from their contract with ESPN? Bastards... why do they deserve their own channel?

The Longhorn Network will be the death of Texas. Short term no....but long term aTm will rise above.

LSU is bigger than ND...when will the media realize this?

We have more money, better facilities, bigger stadium, more passionate (not necessarily larger) fanbase.

I'd like to know how many of those athletic departments are:

1. Are they self sustaining?

2. Which ones are actually operating in the black?

Yes they are. They have been a part of the BCS since its inception by way of a special agreement.

they have 50k student tickets, keeps their gate down. I'm sure as SEC bowl revenue and TV money gets to them, things will change a bit, but I doubt they ever get up to where the biggest of the big boys are

also if basketball keeps gaining momentum and baseball stays the same, we'll see an increase also.

Texas has been the highest by a wide margin for many years.
Little to do with espn other than growing. Gotta tip your hat to them.
