The refs missed a QB getting his face mask ripped off and another guy getting naked on the same play (through no fault of his own). They sucked.

Unless I missed the rule change, there is no "5 yard cushion" rule in college football...that's an NFL rule only. DBs in college can make contact (as long as they are not holding) anywhere on the field as long as the ball is not in the air.
Not sure what your argument is on the pick...by your video, it is clear contact was made before the ball was thrown.
For the record, I'm probably the biggest Dural fan on this board, but if that little shove takes him off his feet then he better hit the weights hard this offseason.

We didn't get beat by a better team. We beat them all game. There were some really bad spots. Cooper trapped a ball. The unsportsmanlike was a bad call and I really didn't understand that touchback. Watched the slow mo. It was the clearest call I have ever seen. It made a huge difference. Jennings had no facemask. ???
To balance it ..
1. I saw a PI that wasn't called on us.
2. Alexander should have controlled himself.
3. Jennings needs to see the field. On the last play of the OT, there was AT LEAST a first down in front of him if he runs. So... he throws into traffic because we all know what an amazing passer he is. (insert sarcasm)
4. WHY IN THE WORLD DO WE ABANDON OUR UP THE MIDDLE GROUND AND POUND game plan for a passing game? REALLY?? We successfully ran it all game long... WHY did they decide to take 4 chances in the air?
To balance it ..

With 7 minutes into the 2nd Quarter Amari Cooper being held.
Holding DeAndrew White going in for a TD.
3rd Quarter LSU Center had Reggie Ragland around the waist with the Ref watching.
1st quarter LSU TE tackles Trey Depriest and no flag.
LSU Tackle holding Allen BAMA DE 1st Quarter. Darn near tackled him to the ground.
I guess it all evens out.

Pressed submit before typing...my bad. Anyway, message to the original poster...excellent work. Push it further, submit it to the SEC offices, not that anything will be done, but it will be more than our athletic department (coach included) seems willing to do.

In this game, it was happening on EVERY play...bama just as guilty, if not more so than LSU...that's a fact. During timeouts, the refs were actually talking to the players and coaches about it....BUT, they never threw a flag for off-setting...they just let it go on....until the right time.

While not at the game, I was watching the officiating very closely, as I have seen the gump umps pull off too many shady calls in the past...
And, there was bug eye, talking to his mike, with no other officials around on the fist PI call against bama that was picked up...replay showed not much on the way of PI, but, bug eye is talking to replay official on his headset and then calls off the PI.
Several plays later, they picked up another flag, not for PI this time, but CBS showed replay and it wasn't a penalty, but, there was bug eye talking to his mike again all alone on sideline, bama sideline, with little nicky standing there cheering him on, again, after a conference with ???replay official???, no penalty called...
I agree that it shouldn't have come down to that, if clm and ccc ever learn how to call a game against bama, we might win another one, one of these years...
But, every time we play either of the gump teams, my BIG tinfoil hat comes out of the closet...
