10-3 this year, not losing to USC and finishing in the top 25 all would've sounded a lot better.

To not be in the top 25 to finish a season with the talent, money and resources we have is ridiculous.

That was until a shrimp boat captain ran the talent down to where the next coach wouldn't have a 2 deep roster on scholarship. I really don't think the average fan realizes how shitty O's last 3 classes turned out be. O mismanaged the roster worse than any lsu coach since I've been alive.

Pathetic thread. Bk sucks. Accept it. LSU will stay mediocre until he leaves.

Les had a pretty similar record from 2012-2014 and that was the beginning of the end for him.

A west championship by beating Bama is great. But we also got skull dragged at home by the worst Bama team since 2007. Heisman winner is great but we also wasted three of the brightest you stars in the NFL by not being able to field a top 50 defense. TOP FIFTY!!!

All this to say, next year is kinda make or break. At the end of that similar stretch Miles went 9-3 one more time and should have been fire. Four games into the next season he was. But we knew it was the end when he got carried off the field against A&M the year before.

BK took over a very bad situation from a depth standpoint.

Given that he has the scraps via the portal, and a signing class that he had to work to keep from totally falling apart, I don’t really count the 1st year as part of his rebuild.

2012 was following 1/9/12.
10-3 was a good year, but weirdly was also a letdown given the previous season (especially the way that it ended).
Those 19 wins included Townson,
North Texas, and Idaho.

2013 was also a good year.
10-3 again. This time the wins included UAB, Kent State, and Furman.

2014 was a shite sandwich.
8-5 with losses to Mississippi State, Alabama, Arkansas, Notre Dame, and a 41-7 beat down by Auburn. He lost 3 of the last 4 games.

Lastly, he couldn’t beat Saban, and he refused to adapt or make changes.

BK has turned his staff over.

BK and CLM are not remotely similar imho.

The answer for the people who like BK it will be yes. For the ones who don't like BK and want him fired it will be no. There is no middle ground here. No try to change one's mind no matter what another tries to do.

I think his biggest failure this year is the aTm second half. Embarrassing. It’s not his only failure, but it’s his biggest one imo.

All in all though, not bad for 3 years

What if LSU paid 2 million a year would that be good enough.

Charlie Weis had some top 5 classes before leaving. BK took over a loaded program at ND and never won a title.

Not liking his chances for taking over a shite sandwich and turning them into the sec and nation champs.

If it was in reverse order, then yes. In that order, I hoped we’d be a lot better in year three.

This year losses to A&M, FLORIDA!, a weak Bama, USC
Last year lost to Bama, FSU and Ole Miss
First year, lost to UGA by 20, A&M by 15, Tenn by 27 and FSU.

Don't forget to mention he took over a worse lsu roster than Saban did in 2000. He'll Kelly didn't even have a 2 deep roster on scholarship the day he was hired here.

notable coaches in year 3.... but don't let facts get in the way of your hate
Saban lost 5 games year 3 at lsu
Dabo lost 7 games year 3 at clemson
Smart lost 3 games year 3 at UGA
Harbaugh lost 5 games year 3 at Michigan

Lots of 4 and 5 stars on offense.

However, Weiss couldn’t sign a quality defender to save his life.

In short, it was a loaded offense, but it wasn’t a loaded program.

That’s why Notre Dame went 3-9 in year 4 under Weiss.

Are you really going to shite on year one when he only had 37 scholarships on his roster when he arrived? A West title and a 10 win season has only happened 6 times in the last 25 years. Just fyi.

Knowing the above info, if you still choose to shite on year one, then you are a loon.

All on the road, all of them won 10+ games (Ole Miss =11, Bama =12, and FSU won 13). Again, it was Year 2. But let me guess 10-3 is shite.

USC was frustrating.
A&M was great…in the first half. The second half was a kick in the nuts. A running qb exposed the D.
Bama was a match up nightmare.
Florida (who also had a running qb) beat Ole Miss the following week. Were the Rebel’s a shite team as well? Should Lane be fired after losing at Florida?

BK finally having some NIL money is big. Nuss coming back is huge. Year two is usually better than year one (Burrow / Daniels…although probably think that they suck too with winning only one Heisman each).

I’m bullish on the Tigers next year.
