Yep. Wasn't it a 24-6 SEC record South Carolina team that didn't make it out of a super regional with ULL? It's baseball

I hate to break it to you but Dylan Crews did the exact same 360 as he was rounding first base when he hit his HR last night.

That's different, lol. Crews' 360 was counter clockwise.

Run the bases, celebrate with your team & finish the game, no need to talk shite to a 3-7 team imo

I don't care who thinks this is a "get off my lawn" take. because I completely agree. This new age of kids has bought into this belief that you "gotta show emotion", or you aren't cool enough to be a winner. I don't remember ever seeing players have trouble having fun and showing emotion, without being total scumbags, when I was a kid. And that wasn't all that terribly long ago.

These Tennessee kids, however, are the worst I have ever seen, and they act exactly like their coach. Sooner or later, whatever craziness that is working for them, will cease. And then people will just point and laugh at them for their arrogance.

I mean he just hit a grand slam to take the lead in a conference weekend game, he has the right to be excited. I’d bet you Mizzou was barking at them during that game as well. I don’t see a problem.

And I hate to break it to you but Dylan Crews did the exact same 360 as he was rounding first base when he hit his HR last night.

Dylan Crews Didn't stare into their dugout and yell into it. Also, their pitcher was staring and barking into our dugout, earlier in the game, for absolutely no reason.

Tennessee doesn't get any benefit of the doubt here, to assume that Missouri "started it". Because their reputation is that they do this every game, without provocation. It really makes them look small.

Their whole team and coach act that way. But when you’re playing like they are, you can act however you want imo

If that was our coach and our team no one on here would be calling out such antics.

I would. I called out Devin Fontenot last year, after he pulled some similar nonsense at Ole Miss. I don't care who you are, there is no reason to start crap with the other team. I have no problem responding with a little bit of talk when the other team is acting like Tennessee does, but don't be that guy who just makes it all about you, and starts some crap for no reason. It's just classless.

He turned back around and yelled at the other dugout, too. Douches gonna douche. Only one HBP and crushed metacarpal from watching the CWS from the dugout.

When I read these comments all I see is a bunch of whiney arse old men that are jealous of another program. If Vitelo was here doing the same stuff here y'all would be saying the total opposite. I would much rather have that situation than looking at Pawl sitting on the bench looking lost. Yes I know we have a new coach.

I haven’t watched SEC baseball this season. How da frick is Tennessee 29-1 and 11-0 in conference? What’s the secret ? All seniors ? Damn !
They're fricking stacked and are beyond confident so they play with a swagger.

Rock solid in the field.

Pitchin staff is loaded but the only one you hear about is the 6'5" guy that can pump 104

They rake too. Call me crazy but I think their mindset helps them so much. They all look like they think they're monsters and they play like it. They feed off of their coaches confidence and they walk into a game looking like they're mad that the other team had the audacity to show up.

It's one of the better ball teams I've seen in the past 20 years but the beautiful thing about baseball- best team doesn't always win.

Honest question for those who have played or are in the know: do catchers talk crap to batters or do umpires cut that off? Looked like the Vol may have been barking at the catcher (and perhaps tossed the bat at him a little). I also agree that Preston whatshisface should not have stared down our whole dugout in the 7th inning - bad karma brah

I have heard people say Tennessee is a veteran team for like 3 years now. However, some commentary on TV last night made it seem like 2 of their best arms are Freshman and another is a Sophomore?

I have not done any research, so if I am wrong, my bad.

I remember someone knocking Vitello's success as a coach, because he is just a great recruiter. Sign me up for a great recruiter that has done what he has done. Que the he hasn't won anything people. It's still Tennessee. He took over such a bad team.

They will continue to win a lot of games, but it's hard to imagine they can sustain it throughout the playoffs.

If LSU gets to Sunday, they win that national championship. Florida wasn't head and shoulders above shite. They snuck past LSU with no starters left after coming out of the loser's bracket.

The beauty of CWS and Supers is it only takes a bad stretch and the GOAT team can be sitting at home. One injury can change the dynamic of a team as well.

Vandy went 26-3 in the SEC in 2013 and didn’t make the CWS

They have an extremely veteran lineup. Mostly third to fourth year juniors with a graduate senior who have waited their turn behind the exodus of players last year.

The rotation is extremely young.

Crews celebrated to his own dugout. The Tennessee douche took his bat and pointed it at the Missouri dugout.

I meant a CWS.

Also, this thread was started pointing out how they are running away with it right now and the rest of the field is still open, but has since (d)evolved into a different topic.

Our pitchers stare into the opposing teams dugout and yell stuff all the time. Every team has done that. It’s not a big deal.

Project said earlier in this thread that Mizzou was barking at Tennessee and their picture was basically throwing a party every time he got a strikeout. You care way too much about people staring at other people during a baseball game.
