Imagine being ole miss with the "best"QB in college football and only 70 yard in first half. Funny thing is we had the same stats in our favor but we're losing in the first half

500 yards means nothing if you can't score a fricking point. Unfortunately, the team that wins the game has the most points, not the team with the most yards.

This game doesn't bother me like the Kentucky game. That game actually pissed me off. Maybe it's apathy.

Loss is a loss no matter how it happens. No one remembers how you lost next year unless it is 1/9/2012. I still wait for our offense to cross 50yard line

We got a lot of yards but had absolutely impeccable aim when shooting at each of our toes in the red zone.

It was fascinating watching the offense today. They could move the ball pretty well but just couldn’t get the ball into the end zone. I guess frustrating is the better word. At home and couldn’t punch it in. Sad

Dominate the statline at home and lose by three scores. against bama? frick yeah everyone melting. Kinds game that ends the honeymoon with the new coach and massively increases the fanbases hostility until you win multiple big games.

500 yards looks great on the stat line.
Then you realize you only scored 13 pts because you couldn’t ever finish. Most of that “impressive” 500 yard total came between the 20s.

I get what you mean. But looking at this from a wider lense, losing to an average Alabama team… again, was pretty frustrating. This appears to be a mental hurdle in the LSU program that is handed down no matter the coach. I don’t know what better way to say it at this point. Stop being so intimidated by these guys. It’s getting sad. There needs to be a mental shift within the program. LSU is plenty capable of beating them, they just can’t.

Id rather 285 total yards and 31 points than 500 yards and only 13 points every time.
