He should've never started the season.

Staff knew he wasn't there.

But this is this year and fans or people that post on TD really love trashing players. Sad thing... probably none of them could complete a 5yd out route, 10yd dig, back shoulder or even a slant route.

If he was hurt all year then it’s on him also. Have the decency to shut it down so the whole year isn’t wasted for the rest of the team. Glad the whole Nuss buss experience is over. Nobody is faulting Weeks for sitting most of the season with an injury.

You are wrong on this one. I think MVB is a good QB but for him to go on the road in the SEC week in week out and win games as a true sophomore is truly ridiculous.

Can we quit having this conversation? It’s getting old.

The quitter

Au contraire mon frere. Nuss is the very antithesis of a quitter-- he insisted on playing even when it became contrary to his own best interest, and the team's best interests

Can you name another major player in the last 20 years much less qb who had a nagging injury not spend a single second in the tent and got zero trainers attention on the sidelines all season?

Joe Burrow played with a jacked up shoulder half the 2018 season and no one knew about it until the following season

Because BK helped Armstrong hammer that deal out.

The better question is why would he or the coaches make the decision to let him play anyway. Looking at his passes over 10 yards this year, I'm not sure how anyone thought he was our best option.

If he was our best option, sit him against the rent-a-wins and let him rest/heal.

I don't doubt the injury, as obviously his passing declined from last year. He was never a great QB, but he had a good arm. My doubt comes is for anyone who saw his passes in practice and in games, yet continued playing him week after week.

Will go down as the only player in NCAA history to opt out of two seasons during his career.

I think the coaches realized that he gives them a better chance to win games. They do not want to publish the extent of his injuries as this could be used against him

So our super secret awesome strategy was to play a QB who effectively had a bum arm? I guess at least he had it between the ears… oh wait.

We did?

Some of yall seriously need tp go back and watch games against good opponents.

40% completion against ole miss.

Seeing this stuff triggers me bad. Same ppl that thought we were natty bound when he said he was coming back

He played injured and should not have. Plain and simple.

I do think the kid was trying to play through it for the team and the coaches had little faith in the backups and so just kept him in there hoping he’d be fine.

In the end, he and the coaches not only killed the season but really hurt his draft prospects.

This should be a cautionary tale that you don’t force yourself to play hurt if it is limiting to you so much. There was nothing to gain

No injury can explain the very poor decisions that he makes.

He is a gunslinger and makes bad decisions at times because he had a gun of an arm. When that isn’t there and he still follows that mentality, it is even worse consequences.

LSU & Nuss don’t owe you shite. You’re never going to know what happened or what’s happening. He sucks, move on.
