They’re above average, the SEC sucks again, and they haven’t self destructed to this point. Same as Ole Miss.

Elko is a really good coach. He had duke playing good. That wasn't a fluke

Marcel Reed is polarizing but he’s 3rd in Heisman odds and rising. Dual threat QBs are a cheat code

Good coach, good money, good QB, good WRs, good o line, good oc, things of that nature that sound foreign to LSU other than money

I don't think its that the SEC isn't good. College football is just moving more and more towards the parity of the NFL. There are a group of teams who are really good and then a group of teams who are capable of beating those teams on any given weekend. Its going to lead to 1-2-3 losses per season. People will have to adjust to that.

Who have they beaten outside ND?

Everyone they have played.

It’s the SEC. There are no easy games

They don’t call really bad offensive plays in important situations, and they are well coached.

People don’t want to hear this, but it’s true. There’s a lot of really bad football being played in the SEC these days.

So we should be super optimistic about LSU's win today?

There is a group of teams who are above the rest but they aren’t really good. Then yes, there are several who are capable of beating them since they aren’t great.

Likely winners of the ACC and Big 12. Also at worst third best team in the Big 10

UGA, Bama, aTm, Texas, Ole Miss, Vandy, Oklahoma

Most probably:

LSU, Missouri, Florida

Their SEC schedule is on the easy side.

Easy schedule. 9-34 conference record for opponents. Unprecedented.

that’s is crazy good luck to be able to pull that out in the sec

Weak schedule. Decent coaches and talent. Dual threat QB.

I can poke as many, or more holes, in Ohio State and Indiana, as the rest of the SEC. Outside of them, you aren't picking any top SEC teams to lose against. Its called parity, and its great for the sport.

Not the point. They have not played Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and they played Missouri with a true freshman quarterback, and not the guy that won all of their games this season. If you avoid the top four of the conference and throw Vandy in there as well, who have they beaten?
The same thing goes for Ole Miss. They have beaten nobody.

No doubt they're good. But they've played non one worth a shite outside ND. They've benefited from their schedule. Will be a common thing for years to come with these super conferences. Always will be a few teams that get relatively cakewalk conference schedules.

They have been absolutely loaded for years. They finally have a great staff. Was eventually going to happen
