What time is ideal to arrive to tailgate? We are staying at a place 6 miles from campus

We’re south of Burbank/ walk ons…
Going to lot 300 to meet up with friends
Is leaving at 8am too late to avoid traffic madness?
Today will be glorious
Btw: we toured campus yesterday- LSU is such a beautiful campus

I live in NC and make it back every now and then
I was born in Baton Rouge, and my parents went to LSU, and I was raised a die hard LSU fan, grew up in Texas, and I’ve lived in North Carolina since 94
The group that we’re staying with is from Alabama, and I keep trying to tell them that it’s madness at LSU tailgating especially for Bama
They want to come over around 11…smh…bad idea.
My daughter is a cheerleader for Alabama
So yeah- there is that tidbit
My son and I have 50 yard line seats thanks to my wife!
