He looked like he wanted to choke up a little when Lane said he was like a dad to him. Thank you Nick Saban for setting off LSU football again wish it would have been more than 5 years but I appreciate the time he was here

When Kiffin said “I’m looking forward to being on ‘that’ sideline and Saban said “I did it for five years….”
He seemed very proud of Lane and it was sort of implied “you just wait. You’re gonna freak out when you experience it for yourself.”

Saban quit coaching because he hated the concept of paying the players to play.
Kiffen displayed the absurdity of the pay for play by resigning players with college eligibility to continue their education.
The SEC and NFL are outraged about the development and are clutching their pearls and finding any ambulance chaser they can get hold of to stop the madness.
Unfortunately, the SEC and NFL will lose this in the long run. Their only solution is to stop allowing Juniors and those with eligibility into the draft or giving those Juniors no cut contracts. The NFL will no longer be able to hype up a kid with delusions of future riches and then cut them with a couple hundred dollar check and a bus ticket home.

Saban also smiled and looked genuinely happy talking about running out of the tunnel at Tiger Stadium and how proud he is of Lane. Has to make Bama fans furious!
