Im more than happy to have Lane, but Lincoln would be a different coach here. USC isnt the prestigious program it once was in the early 2000s.

Well we got Brian Kelly and if we didn't get him we would've had Napier. There was no good candidates. Kiffin was still untouchable. Especially with Woodward as the AD.

If there's one thing Baton Rouge will not put up with at all, it's a horrendous defense. Riley would have never survived here.

They put up with Bo Pelini V2 and Matt House who at least cost that team a Playoff spot with the Worst D in 20plus years!
