LSU is good…. A few media talking heads have already mentioned that LSU is a problem this year
Yes, but I have fallen for this before. While this team has all appearances of being McMahon’s best at LSU, I can’t let myself get too excited because we’ve all seen this the past couple years. LSU starts the season looking good against weak opponents then falls apart when SEC play comes around.

Let’s geaux!!! McMahon might have something special this year.

McKinnon is a big flopper. Lol

Yeah, I didn’t see it, but posters stated he was on crutches

Best half of basketball under McMahon?

Yay! Got the sticky finally.

Best half of basketball this year. 50-22 lead on high 60s FG percentage. Nwoko has 3 points and LSU is still blowing them out. This team has so many scoring options

This team is 100% go with no brake
Love it
We have so much energy and movement on every possession

People saying that we have seen this before, simply have not paid attention…
This years team is very different. Not a single starter from last year?? Maybe Nwoko…
So much speed and energy and quality shooting.
This is a tournament team

9 assists to 4 turnovers. 68% from the floor. 57% from 3. Out rebounding them 18-8. They are mauling DePaul. Hope
They keep their foot on the gas.

I guess it's time to start watching LSU basketball

As I said in the other thread, my "eye-test" (which is meaningless) thinks this team looks better at this point that similar results previous seasons.
I think the current (however early) analytics support that thought. We've been sitting #36-38 Kenpom for a bit. That's higher than a CoachMc team has ever been.

If we can keep our foot on the gas here we’ll probably crack the top 30

Well, Jalen Reed was a starter last year. Nwoko wasn’t in the team last year.
Outside of Thomas and maybe king I wouldn’t call us a speedy team either. We have been efficient, and we take better care of the ball so far.
I think McMahon realized he needed more size on the perimeter to compete.
They clearly look better than last year or mcmahons first year, but after watching most of the league play, I think we could find ourselves around 9th or 10th which might land us on the good side of the bubble.

I watch every game basically…. Every year.
This team is much different that we have seen since Wade
This is far and away our best team since Wade
Thomas is an absolute stud! And Max Mac is a problem…
Nwoko can handle other teams bigs…
We rebound well
Our weakness is likely our inability to defend the post… but we are very active with our guards and harass everyone.
This is just a very energetic team with a lot of skill…
That can take you a long way
