This wasn’t on Leavitt. He played his arse off. This was on the coaches. Bad play calling at critical moments and lack of discipline in the moments that matter. It’s that simple. When the defense brought 6+, Chambliss struggled and we made plays. When they didn’t, LSU got owned by #6. The pressure wasn’t there consistently enough in the 4th, and there were plenty of opportunities for that to have been the case. That’s why we lost.

Bro he failed to throw to a wide open wr in the endzone on a play designed for just that, then miss a wide open player for a TD a couple plays later.

Leavitt did not have a good game but I expect him to play better as the season progresses and he builds a repertoire with the receivers more.

Leavitt had happy feet for the first half, made a few decent passes, then decided he can't hit wide open receivers. He shoulders a lot of the blame tonight

Who missed a wide arse open receiver AGAIN??? Leavitt is an average quarterback. He is an ATHLETE playing quarterback. Horrible mechanics. Footwork is awful.

No it's not. The offense that ole miss runs is the exact offense we are running and they throw the ball down the field. This is 100% on Leveitt. He has people wide open and he can't complete a pass. How is that ok the play calling when you draw up a play where you have a TE wide open and your 5 mill Qb can't make a simple throw.
