I was in Tiger Stadium for a similar season opener in 2004 versus Oregon State. Was already hammered before kickoff and then there was a hell of a deluge. It was miserable and crotch rot was setting in, so we manned up and got sh*tfaced in West Upper Deck. Crowd showed up that night despite the weather.
Helluva game broke out. There were streakers on the field in warmups, and LSU won in overtime. Can’t remember anything else.
Slept in my truck on the old golf course lol.

There were people in the midfield seats that 100% left right before kick of the 2024 Bama game when it started raining

With a full 90 minute warm up, the Baton Rouge residents can literally go home, crank hog, change into some dry clothes, and return to the game with time to spare.

I’m here. Mid field seats are somewhat sparse however the crowd is buzzing. Already a solid crowd and people are aful filing in.
