Is anyone else disappointed that Taylor isn’t playing?

After last week, I wanted to see LSU beat a viable team. Now I feel like it’s a Louisiana Tech type game. There’s no upside. If we somehow lose or don’t look good, everyone will be mad. If we win big, it doesn’t mean anything.

There's plenty of upside. We just need to win. We don't need to prove ourselves. The schedule is tough enough already. If we lose today it shows this team just isn't good.

No. Why would we want to have a greater challenge? This isn’t practice evaluation. It’s the season.

Kamario hasn’t been 100% since Minnesota, the turf toe will probably kill MSU’s season. For us, you take the W in the SEC regardless

I was hoping he'd play so we would have an opportunity to play a tough offense as a prep for Bama. If we couldn't beat State and Taylor, we shouldn't expect to be good enough to beat Bama or Texas.

frick no. Kentucky didn’t feel bad about beating us by one in ot without our key players. Never apologize for winning.

I kinda feel bad for him because at media days he indicated that he was really looking forward to playing here. Said the 2019 team made him a pseudo LSU fan on the side and dreamed of playing a game in Death Valley and was excited to finally be able to play here. Now he's not going to play and because of the new SEC schedule they won't be back for another 4 years when he'll be out of eligibility.

So in that respect it kinda sucks for him that his one opportunity to play in this stadium is gone.

Perception in winning only matters to the fans. Just win and we’re good.

Injuries are part of the game

Nobody wants to hear LSU complain about our injuries so I don’t want to hear complaints about other team’s injuries.

Disappointing only because it would have been fun to watch Taylor play

Dude is an elite athlete. This is probably the only time LSU will see him as he likely jumps in the portal at season’s end and goes to a contender like Miami

This game will be mocked by the critics just like Clemson
LSU can’t control the schedule and lsu has lost key players too

Heck no. You just took a loss to a 1st season head coach at Kentucky in football, all while having an unlimited budget and talent advantage. You take any SEC win you can get and move on to the next week.

The cfb world was not going to give us any more legitimacy after beating moo state at home, no matter what.

So just take the W and move on.

Yes. Gotta make Blake Baker earn his inflated 3.5 million salary.

With the Blake Baker factor in play—thankful Taylor is out. Wish him a speedy recovery.
