But not gonna lie, I kinda like it. If you have an offense and QB you trust, you go for 2 then the opponent has no opportunity to go for 2 themselves (which you know Lane would have done) to try to win.

That was actually dumb. If they don’t convert that and Sam hits 44, we could have been up by 1. That would have been a disaster of a decision in that situation.

He knew our players were dumb and would jump off sides, not once, but twice so it wasn't that hard to make that call.

If he kicks the PAT and Lane scores a TD and goes for 2 (which he would have), he also loses by 1.
