You know there's a world where LSU doesn't convert that fourth down, right? The retard quarterback had already fumbled with the drive before.
Sure he couldve went for it , but why are some you acting like LSU was at midfield or in Kentucky territory?
God forbid Lane trusted his highest paid coordinator in the country to not let that bum arse offense drive 70 yards with no timeouts

Lane will probably say something about analytics. However, you 100 percent go for it and win the game right there with how your defense had played. Their kicker wasn’t missing three in a row.

Blake Bakers defense only gave up 17 points prior to Kiffin not going for it on 4th and 1. How am I suppose to be made at that?
Also every single fricking team gets into field goal range in these 2 minute drills. I’m not blaming a DC for that.

Cool, they are STILL IN FG range. They were ALWAYS going to get into FG range. Especially after you punt giving them 4 downs to get firsts.
Always. Most teams would give up those yards when the other team is going balls to wall with 4 downs.
Go for the 1 yard and you end all that, but you if you don't you can STILL HOLD THEM TO A FG which is what you had been doing all 2nd half.

The defense kept them out of the end zone well enough to give the offense a chance to win the game.

I agree. There was no guarantee. Hell, they pinned them back at the 20 and the defense just went out on the field like it was over. How do you drop 6-7 guys and still cover no one. Guys were looking at each other like, was that my guy or your’s? Baker’s defenses have been a joke since he got here.
