These are unserious people. Can you imagine that phone call to the president of ESPN:

Sankey: "We need to break our contract with you and renegotiate without LSU as a member."

ESPN: "Why?"

Sankey: "Because a lawyer representing players in a lawsuit against us not involving LSU directly said a mean thing about us."

Yeah, that conversation is happening.

Of course, it is USA Today, so there is always the chance that his sauces are FOS.

You think?

This imbecile is honestly claiming "sources" tell him that a comment by an attorney who has NO AFFILIATION WITH LSU, in a lawsuit which DOES NOT INVOLVE LSU could be a nidus leading to LSU getting kicked out of the SEC?

He is not a serious person.

Texas voted to expel Lane for not doing what Sark is in fact doing…playing a “professional” player as per SEC’s own rule.

Hutson entered the draft, did not withdraw from draft, and went undrafted. He is absolutely ineligible and 15 member institutions, including Texas, voted to suspend Sark for half the season.

That’s where the Players’ legal team needs to take this…inequitable enforcement of the rules

Orchestrated campaign from Birmingham attempting to scare LSU into being the bitches we were the past 50 years before LK, Landry, and current administration.

These “sources” that are pussies not to go on the record for a story so salacious tells you it has no merit but does reveal how deeply embarrassed the SEC is for having its hypocrisy exposed and Commissioner revealed as an emperor with no clothes.

Truly one of the dumbest statements in this whole thing. Lane has people making some absurd statements that will look real stupid once emotions calm down.

You have to have unanimous vote to allow Texas and OU in. Aggies had to be talked to to get a yes vote.

Absolutely no way you can kick LSU out without a unanimous vote. Absolutely no way you will get that in the SEC.

It probably would not be very difficult at all to find actual evidence of media collusion at this point.

Just contrast the NCAA affiliate network reporting with the AP & Reuters reporting on the LA prelim injunction alone.

If the federal suit doesn’t get thrown out, we should throw defamation in the bucket of counter-suits and name Disney/ESPN.

Are they kicking out Alabama as well for actually rostering and playing a professional basketball player? I'll hang up and listen.

Extremely fair. The issue is that social media is an echo chamber of the corrupt and always bias media narratives.

I’m sure some of them were angry. He was a little disrespectful to Sankey on more than one occasion. And I’m sure the fact he needed security was the icing on top. But don’t act like LSU had nothing to do with it. LSU was the whole reason he had to be there in the first place.
