Leavitt didn’t play well, but Baker allowing 32 points is why we lost. No pressure and soft coverage….

Agreed, but the defense played most of the first half.

If the offense doesn't shite down its leg the first half you aren't blaming baker.

To a 6th year quarterback who will probably win the Heisman.

Hold them to a FG before halftime. And score a TD from the 4 instead of kicking a FG, and the game has a different outcome.

Gave up 8 in 2nd half. The plan in the 1st half was wrong. But our Off could give def a rest. Iits not all on def. Off was awful first half

Time of possession in the first half was about 14-16 in favor of OM.

And Ole Miss went 7-9 on 3rd down in the first half.

So that TOP was completely on the defense's inability to stop Chambliss on third down.

Again no pressure and soft coverage was why the defense stayed on the field. Yes, the offense didn’t help, but the defense couldn’t get a stop on 3rd down.

Do you think OM has a good defense?

Didn't think so

Do you think Chambliss is a good QB? Exactly

32 is more than I was hoping for, but the offense left enough points on the field to win.

That’s what happens when the other team throws for 250 yards in the first half with a 10yd cushion.

Pressure was picked up well. If we brought 4 or 5, it was handled with little problem.

That’s what I’m saying. Imagine if they didn’t play soft arse coverage on that drive before the half and didn’t allow that easy touchdown. Whole different game.

But none of that happened

Defense also didn't get any stops either. Defense allowed a whole game's worth of yards and TDs to Chambliss. Soft coverage and no pressure did LSU in.....

It’s a team sport. Offense needed to get some first downs in the early going.
