Five generations went to Tech. Four generations went to LSU.

My great grandfather was in one of Tech's first graduating classes.

My grandmother's lifelong best friend was the daughter of "Big" Stovall of the 1908 team and the granddaughter of President Nicholson.

My grandfather got his undergraduate degree at Tech and his Masters at LSU. My father got his undergraduate degree at Tech and went to LSU law school. I went the other way and got my undergraduate degree at LSU and my Masters at Tech.

One of my nephews is a recent LSU graduate. His two brothers are currently at Tech.

I know not having an in-state rivalry is a competitive advantage and we don't want one. But it could be a big one if Tech had the resources to get on our level.

I was the first LSU grad in my family. All previous were Tech grads. And one of my kids has an engineering degree from Tech.

Some family members on both my parents sides went to Tech, plus a few friends from high school. Most are huge LSU fans, the non-LSU fans probably aren’t aware of the game today.

I grew up in South LA and an LSU fan my entire life. I learned about LaTech my junior year of high school and decided to go there to get my engineering degree. My wife has a tech undergrad and LSU masters.

I’ve got my LSU polo on with a tech hat and koozie.

I am the black sheep of my family for going to Tech (scholarship). Undergrad I didn’t miss an LSU home game and got some grief from friends for hosting LSU games (away games) when Tech was playing on campus.

My LSU degree was my Masters.

Everybody in my family from grandparents to children are Tech & LSU grads. My daughter (no pics) is the only one that just has a degree from LSU but she’s getting a Doctorate in Phys Therapy out of State. We don’t cheer against Tech but we all wanting a big LSU win!

I have bachelors degrees from LSU (first) and Tech (second). I also have a Masters from Michigan. I pull for all three. But…

When LSU plays Tech, I hope for a 28 to 35 point margin of victory LSU win. Solid win but nothing extremely embarrassing.

If LSU ever plays Michigan, I hope we (LSU) put up 60 on them.

Point is: I always want LSU to win and win big and I don’t care against who. I follow the other schools too, and want them to win unless it somehow conflicts with LSU’s interests.

I have a Bachelors from Tech and a Masters from LSU. The Masters paid off more in my career so I always pull for LSU over Tech but pull for both when they don’t play each other

I could easily argue that choosing to go to LSU over Tech in today’s day and age, would indeed make you the idiot, anyways…

Yeah I graduated from LSU and my wife graduated from tech. Today is literally the first time in 3 years that’she has cared about tech sports at all lol.
