I can’t wait to not have to turn away and not watch when other teams punt now

Also, lsu has dropped two kickoffs the past two seasons resulting in two touchdowns for the opposition.

That shite can’t happen

Having an actual return game would have a pretty drastic impact imo

"I can’t wait to not have to turn away and not watch when other teams punt now"

Good news or Bad news (However you chose to look at it)
The opposing team Punting was such a rare occasion you rarely had to look away. It was basically a trick play for them...

I am surprised some teams we played even dressed a punter.

We thought we were getting that with Aaron Anderson. Hopefully this works out better.

Will he just strictly a returner, or we he get some run at WR? I imagine he will but wasn't positive.

Aaron Anderson has had injury issues. Hopefully he will be completely healthy going in to next season.

When healthy he's a gamebreaker at WR.

In fact, a decent punt return here or there could have made the difference in a game we lost

Whatever game that is I can probably point out about 25 other plays that also would have made a difference with 20+ of them coming on defense. With our offense this year, I was perfectly happy with prioritizing ball security over a "decent" punt return.

Wishing people understood just how long it takes to get near 100% from a trashed ankle or knee.... Anderson and Smith would be set for monster years next year after fighting through this one.

Anderson was, and still is, all potential. Of course, fumbling the very first chance you get doesn't exactly make a great impression.

Thomas on the other hand has an actual history of returning in SEC games.

Didn't pay much attn to him this year, seems like a solid pick up.

12.6 yds per catch seems kinda average but States offense did blow this year.
