Oh well, he wanted what he wanted and he wanted it immediately when he wanted it.

My guess, if this effects his NIL, is he tries to come back to LSU but I wouldn't take him back because he could bolt again after next season. He's shown his hand and there's no going back.

I hope Tennessee enjoys this same article being reworded to sound new being dropped the night before every big game, signing day, commitment date, for the next 2 years.

as long as it doesnt affect his NIL money i doubt the results of the investigation bothers him too much. he wants to get paid, have a starting spot, and then move on to the NFL. team goals and winning dont seem to matter to him too much. he just wants his money and to finish these next two years and then move on to more money in the NFL.

O/U 10% where transferring from LSU to another SEC school has worked out for the player.

Kelvin Joseph is the only one I can think of, but I think he was kicked off the team by Orgeron.

Dare Rosenthal also went to UK and was really good

Dwight McGlothern, Landon Jackson at Arkansas

I mean I get what you’re saying but I’d still take that sumbitch back if he wanted.

Exactly! If Campbell or Jones get hurt for any extended period of time then we'll wish like hell Heard was still on the team.

Can't take a chance and waste playing time on him. The whole point of taking care of Louisiana guys is to garner more loyalty than pure NIL. Heard blows that up.

He's already shown he's all about NIL and will go to any rival school if it's good enough. Why wouldn't he do it again? No, focus on the guys you've got in the program that haven't shown the same attitude as Heard. Weston Davis will be just fine filling in as a backup until next year when he'll have a chance at LT. Heard didn't want to work for the LT position, he wanted it handed to him.

I'd be pissed if I was an OL and lost out on playing time to Heard after he was fully set on leaving purely for a bag. Sets a terrible precedent and if he left again you'd be a double pickle.

I hate the whole situation. I was really excited about getting him and his future with us, but he screwed it up with some help from some stupid arse that only cares about money. Oh well, I probably would be cool if he came back, but sometimes you gotta learn the hard way.

Money is something that can blindside people that know what their doing. He's a young guy and he's gonna make his fair share of frickups. I would take him back too

He did make a poor decision but I doubt any of this affects him much, even if it's "major". Maybe they lose some scholarships and some recruiting restrictions? A post season bowl ban would be the only thing that would really affect him personally.

It’s crazy too think while schools are starting to get investigated due to infractions pertaining to NIL you have LSU doing a feature with Amazon highlighting NIL with their top athletes.
